Divisional Preview: Broncos at Patriots
@steven_lebron - Denver Broncos
I don’t know what I’m watching anymore. I don’t know what I’m writing anymore. If we accept Tim Tebow as a competent passer in the league based on what we saw last week, than he should be able to find ways to exploit the Patriots’ secondary. Having played against each other just a month ago, I think the familiarity will help Denver on both sides of the ball. The Patriots have been here before, just last year, heavily favoured as the top seed against the New York Jets in another regular season rematch. And we all know what happened. This is going to be a closer game than most people think (the Patriots opened as 14 point favorites). In honor of Bart Scott: can’t wait!
@nhall - New England Patriots
I hate to be a Broncos downer but I think their time has run out. Great display last week but I don’t see another team sticking with and getting killed by a defensive scheme like that.  Heres how the Broncos can win, they control the ball and eat up time with the running game.  Now that could happen if New England doesn’t load up the line of scrimmage like Pittsburgh did. In fact that’s how the Broncos jumped out to an early lead in the first game.  But they can only sustain that for so long.  The Patriots have proved over the last couple weeks in the regular season that they don’t have any problem spotting the opponent 3 touchdowns in the first half of the game. With Tom Brady they can erase a deficit like that in no time. I agree that it will be close for a while but by the end New England will overpower this team. New England is just too good on offense. You don’t think Brady hears the talk of them losing the past two years at home? You don’t think Belichick is bringing that up to these players? A home playoff game for New England against the 8-8 Broncos. I can’t go against Brady and Belichick in January. Give me the Pats.
