Games of Note
It’s @nhall and I’m back again for this week’s games of note. Bye weeks are here so we are missing Denver, Tennessee, Kansas City, Arizona, San Diego and Seattle. Maybe “missing” is the wrong verb to use. I can’t say I’m going to miss watching Denver, Seattle, Arizona or KC play this weekend… On to the games.
Carolina at Atlanta (1:00) I admit it, I can’t get enough Cam Newton. This could turn out the be a great game. a division match up in a dome. Vegas has Atlanta laying four at home. Do I smell upset? Boy that would make things interesting.
Bills at Giants (1:00) One loss and people stop talking about the Bills. I believe in Fitzmagic. This game should be a good one. Unfortunately the Giants are severely banged up. If any team needs a bye it’s the Giants. They are most likely going to miss Jacobs and Tuck. I know that the Giants just lost to the Seahawks but I see this game being close. The Bills are getting it done on offense and defense.
49ers at Lions (1:00) The game of the week, no argument. Is there any way that we can move this to either Sunday or Monday night so I can watch it? This is so much better than either of the two prime time matchups. When you looked at the schedule before the season started who knew this was going to be so great? The Lions are 5-0 and the Niners are one overtime loss from sharing that same record. The Lions are on a roll but this is going to a tough one. Great game.
Cowboys at Patriots (4:15) Shoot out, right? What’s the over/under on touchdowns. The Cowboys are on the road but they go into this game healthy, rested and with a new advantage. Rob Ryan. Their new defensive coordinator has successfully schemed against Brady in the past. He has the ability to plan a way to slow him down. Not stop him, just slow it down. This is going to be quite the test for the Patriots.
Who ya got?
