Adam Schefter is reporting that the Ravens have reached a deal with their franchised running back. Ray Rice is believed to have signed a five-year, $40 million contract.  A deal very similar to what Arain Foster and Matt Forte reached this offseason (Forte just earlier today).

The deal came down to the wire, finishing just minutes before the deadline. Very much how the Haloti Ngata deal was reached a few short years back. Ozzie Newsome, the Wizard of Oz, doin’ work.

We can rest easy, Baltimore, Ray Rice will be residing in Charm City for some time.

Adam Schefter is reporting that former Giants running back Tiki Barber has filed papers to come out of retirement. Tiki split with his wife who was pregnant with twins after getting caught cheating with a former NBC intern. Of course this destroyed his broadcasting career. I guess the guy has nothing else to do.
